ALL THE TALENT IN THE WORLD is the fictional story of two high school young men, one of whom becomes an attorney and the other, a National Basketball Association (NBA) star. During the next ten years of maturing, the two become involved with scams, con artists, murder, the Polish Mafia, and a humiliating arrest by the Philadelphia police. This story is filled with actual facts and data-based statistics. It is presented as fiction to make it more interesting. There is never a reference to race, curse words, or ghetto slang. The novel positively highlights the life-enhancing value of education.

I picked up this book on the advice of a friend although it's not normally my kind of book, since I'm not a sports fan or player. When I realized what it was about, I almost quit reading, but was glad I didn't It was an absorbing story about two very different teenagers who were friends and helped each other out. One was a basketball prodigy while the other was a high school nerd. Over the course of the book, the basketball player learned that natural talent isn't enough - it takes hard work and a certain amount of luck. He also learned that most talent scouts and agents are not there to help the players - they're in that business for themselves (and some aren't above cheating "their" players). His friend, who became a lawyer, barely kept him from jail and going broke. Despite pro-ball's high pay, very few manage to hold on to their money and many wind up victimized and poor. Every would-be pro player should read this book or have it read to them by their coaches. All the talent in the world very often isn't enough.

Amazing author!
This is a wonderful story about two friends and the differences in their lives, depending on the choices they made. The main plot of the book is about a young man who becomes an NBL player and how he, just like many athletes, loses his money to bad investments, trusting the wrong people, and not having sufficient education. His best friend helps him throughout school and his career to get him out of some bad situations. The characters were well thought out and the way life lessons were weaved into the story was refreshing.
This is a wholesome book by a creative author. I would recommend this as a good read anyone, especially high school-gollege age as it provides great statistics and examples on how to prepare for a successful future.
This is an inspiring novel for family values and the importance of education. A paper turner for sure.
Excellent read. Interesting and entertaining. I would recommend it . The story flows smoothly.
Thanks Walter for telling me about your book.
Incredible story of friends facing the challenges of growing up and working to achieve incredible goals. This is an excellent book for young or old and would be incredible for high schools to adopt for sports literature classes. Middle and High School students could easily pick this book up and enjoy the reoccurring peaks in excitement, fear, and anticipation. Parents and Grandparents will enjoy the same story while reminiscing and easily relating the characters to people from their past.
GREAT READ!
